How Bellwright Companion verifies game status, distinguishes sources, corrects errors, and evaluates future tools and recommendations.

Bellwright Companion aims to publish information that is clear about what is known, when it was checked, and where it came from.

Source order

  1. Official Donkey Crew announcements and release notes
  2. Official store listings and support documentation
  3. Direct in-game observation on the current public build
  4. Reproducible community findings, labeled as community evidence
  5. Provider claims, labeled and independently checked where possible

Changing claims

Release stage, multiplayer support, dedicated servers, hosting, prices, and affiliate availability can change. These claims require a review date and a direct source.

Tools

Calculators and planners must state their assumptions. If exact rates or formulas cannot be verified, the tool should present ranges or dependencies rather than false precision.

Corrections

Corrections can be reported through the project issue tracker. Material corrections should update both the text and its review date.
